“Latest ISO Standard: A feather in the cap of Vidya Pratishthan”
Vidya Pratishthan(VP) Baramati – based flagship organization of the cluster of educational institutes – schools & colleges – covering in its range institutes from KG to PG & arts to architecture has added a new feather in its cap when it successfully underwent Third Party Audit for ISO 9001:2015 – the latest edition of Quality Management System published by International Standards Certifications(ISC) accredited by JAS-ANZ(Joint Accreditation System of Australia & New Zealand) an accreditation body which is a member of IAF(International Accreditation Forum)– in “VPNEMS – Vidya Pratishthan’s New English Medium School” one of its prestigious schools in Baramati on 27th March, 2017.
The standard ISO 9001:2015 is one of the most popular international standard followed by lakhs of organizations all over the world ranging from hotels to hospitals & educational institutes to multinational conglomerates to whom it is generically applicable. It enforces process approach & risk-based thinking in all activities under the scope of organizations which follow the standard.
It is underpinned by seven management principles spearheaded by customer focus approach.
VPNEMS has included all areas pertaining to education provision ranging from administration to academics & all activities ranging from Parent Teacher Association(PTA) to Management Review Meeting(MRM) during the implementation of the standard.
VPNEMS during the implementation meticulously profiles the educational processes through pertinent & relevant documented information, conducted guided trainings of all staff members, carried out an internal audit under the supervision of external consultants & reviewed(at top management level) the efficiency & effectiveness of the implemented system.
VPNEMS has reaped the benefit of implementation process during the last six months of undergoing the organizational transformation – in terms increased parent & student satisfaction, increased teacher competence & reduced risk load – & will continue to reap further benefits in future asserted Mrs. Joysey Joseph, Principal VPNEMS.
VPNEMS was officially handed over the coveted ISO 9001-2015 certificate at the hands of Mr. Rajiv Natu who heads the certification body International Standards Certifications(ISC) in Western Maharashtra.
VPNEMS staff including Housekeeping worked collaboratively to achieve the remarkable success by adding glory to Vidya Pratishthan.
ISC carried out the extensive third-party audit of the quality management system of VPNEMS before declaring them meeting the tough & thorough requirements of the standard on 27th March, 2017.
Vidya Pratishthan’s Management, who is always keen to know the progress of institutions towards Quality was great support & lighthouse for VPNEMS.
VPNEMS will have to undergo yearly surveillance audit & recertification audit after every three years at the hands of certification body as a part of the strict certification continuation regimen. This Quality Management System process will enable VPNEMS to reach its zenith of success.
